It might be a little grey and cold, but there are still plenty of things to be happy about in January here at My Vintage. As always, we have new arrivals in-store and here on our website every few days; and there have been some amazing items released this month.
I have rounded up some of my absolute favourite finds so far in 2020, covering a range of styles, prices and sizes so there really is something for everyone. All items are in stock as this blog goes live, but they are sure to sell soon so don't delay if you find something you fall in love with!
DRESSES
First up is vintage dresses, and this original 1950s Vintage Blue Chiffon Swing Dress is right at the top of my list. In a modern day UK size 14 too, which is a rare find. It is beautifully embroidered and has that real debutante appeal.
I am also a little obsessed with this 1970s Vintage Striped Shirtwaister Dress in shades of mustard yellow. It's a stylish and timeless midi dress is band on trend for this season and is also a great piece of plus size vintage, in a UK Size 18. I would style this with a denim jacket and ankle boots for a fab daytime look.
SEPARATES
We have had some fantastic casual separates arrive this month, and this 1970s Vintage Sage Green Crochet Top is most definitely one of them. It is so simple and understated, but just has the edge over a plain t-shirt or jumper. Such a versatile colour that would look great with denim. This is a UK size 12.
Sticking with the 1970s, I absolutely love the colour and shape of this Vintage Jaeger Pinstripe Midi Skirt. In a UK size 14, this mid blue pleated skirt would be gorgeous teamed with a simple t-shirt or oversize sweater. The flat front and side buttons make for a flattering fit too.
COATS/JACKETS
I can't seem to drag myself away from the seventies for my January favourites (not like that's a bad thing!) and just look at this amazing vintage tan leather trench coat... It really is the full Charlie's Angels fantasy! Modern day UK size 16 so grab it while you can.
MENSWEAR
This 1940s Vintage Green Gabardine Coat really is amazing. A sought after and collectable item, made from pure wool. A mens size large and incredibly stylish as well as excellent quality and provenance. The perfect item for a real vintage gentleman.
If the huge retro sportwear revival is more your thing, then we have recently stocked this 90s Vintage Diadora Jacket in navy and taupe with a pop of retro orange. Mens size Large.
