It may be a little sad that the Christmas festivities are coming to an end, but I'm sure most of you will agree that having the end of 2020 in sight is excellent news! As they say; out with the old and in with the new so this week I want to show you some of the New Arrivals that have landed recently at My Vintage HQ.
As I'm sure you already know, we stock an extensive range of both true pre-loved vintage and brand new retro and reproduction pieces. VINTAGE DRESSES
We love this stunning mod dress in vivid apple green! Large collar and front buttons down centre to hip level. Straight shape and mid-length. Polyester fabric with some stretch. Three quarter length sleeves, perfect for showing off those vintage gloves. A total hit - if you're a UK size 14 I'm super jealous!
Wow! An amazing original maxi dress in bright psychedelic print in orange, yellow, green and pink. Simple stylish cut with a high neck, fitted bodice and maxi length skirt. Long sleeves with single decorative buttons on the cuffs. This is such a gorgeous vintage maxi dress that will make a real impact, this is such a find.
This is a beautiful and unusual dress from the 1970s, made from a black crochet fabric. V-neck front and back and sloped shoulders, cinched waist and fuller midi skirt. Can be worn with an underslip or perhaps a contrasting colour dress or tight top and shorts underneath. Such a versatile and easy to wear vintage dress that can be worn for so many different occasions!
VINTAGE HANDBAGS
A firm favourite here at My Vintage! Amazing vintage leather handbag in a distinct satchel style. The rich tan brown colour makes this even more desirable and versatile. Square shape with chunky gold tone front buckle (pinch and release style) Carry handle to the top and original removable shoulder strap. This strap needs some repair work/reinforcement but is also a great bag without it. Opens up to reveal 6 individual inner compartments - two zipped. It's an absolute winner for yourself or someone else - don't miss out!
Super cool snake-effect vintage bag with individual scale work that really does emulate the real thing. Classic tan/brown python skin design in neat boxy clutch style. Removable shoulder strap. Lined and edged in cream faux leather. Popper fastening and suede lined inner with mini pouch. Looks as great with jeans, boots and a blazer for a totally effortless and super cool .
This is one of our favourite ever vintage vanity cases! Vivid red snake effect faux leather in a unique round shape with front slide-lock and carry handle. This is simply perfect for both carrying and even storing things like makeup, perfume, jewellery or toiletries. You could also use this a decor or a prop in a retro styled room, perhaps a boudoir if you're lucky enough to have one!
VINTAGE ACCESSORIES
This is a stunning original vintage scarf in signature brown Gucci design. Stitched edges, silk material. We don't have any guarantees that this is genuine so the price reflects this. There are no labels, but it is a lovely quality piece. Would make a fantastic addition to your vintage collection or a great gift for someone special.
This is a fabulous pair of punched leather gloves in a warm terracotta tan shade with top stitching detail. The distressed patina reflects age and wear but still in good vintage condition. Ladies size 7. Perfect to compliment your vintage coat this winter.
Fabulous adjustable bow tie in sumptuous black velvet. Can be adjusted from 14.5" - 18.5" collar. In very good condition. A great gift for a dapper vintage gent!
