As the celebrations of the Jubilee draw to a close and the extra long weekend is almost over; I hope you have had some quality time to enjoy however you liked. We ventured out to a few antique and vintage markets and centres and enjoyed some time with our crazy and brilliant puppy, Reggie!

We have added lots of fantastic items to the website recently; some of which have been snapped up super quickly! But fear not, there are still lots of amazing vintage goodies for me to showcase in this week's blog post. So grab your favourite tipple and what's left of the Platty Jubes buffet and let's dive in...
VINTAGE SCARVES
A classic vintage scarf with a quirky twist. Navy with golden Baroque print around the edges and quirky leopard print in the centre square, edged with gold chain. Measures approx 32" square. When held up to the light there is some thinning of the fabric but generally in very good vintage condition.
Stunning vintage scarf from the iconic and sought after Moschino. Square silk scarf with a bright tropical print featuring vividly coloured parrots and plants. Blue and green LOVE MOSCHINO printed border . Stitched edges. Measures approx 20" x 20" square. In very good vintage condition.
Stylish long silky rectangular scarf from luxe designer and official Royal supplier Aquascutum. Navy blue and brown check with navy border and equestrian style print around the border. Printed with Aquascutum London on bottom corner. Measures approx 58" x 10". Light and silky fabric. In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE SHOES
Stunning vintage heels from luxe designer Bruno Magli of Italy. Very pretty purple leather uppers with peep toes and gathered detail and dainty ankle strap with small side buckle. Finished with a thick block heel. Sole measures approx 10" x 3" and heel approx 3.5" high. Marked as Vero Cuoio meaning 'real leather'. These are beautiful glamorous vintage shoes and have been well worn but are still in very good vintage condition.
Super cute pink pointed stiletto heels from high street favourites St Michael. Beautiful candy pink leather with scalloped edges edged with white leather and finished with punch hole detailing. Slightly coned stiletto heel approx 3" high. Sole measures approx 10" x 3". UK size 5/EUR size 38. These look hardly worn, if worn at all. In very good vintage condition.
Gorgeous 1970s vintage shoes by independent shoe designer Vernon Humpage; made in Italy by Bfiollati. Chunky heeled slingback with attractive circular cutaway detailing on the upper in shades of cream, green and yellow. Fastens with buckle at the side. Brand is faded but there is enough to make out that these are by Vernon Humpage. Some signs of wear and a few marks, but generally in good vintage condition.
VINTAGE DRESSES
This is such a beautiful original 1950s vintage summer dress in a light and airy cotton fabric. Printed with vertical floral panels in pastel tones of blue, green and pink on a cream background. Open collar and full button front with darted bust, cinched waist and full swing skirt. Gathered pleats at the waistband. This light non stretch cotton is slightly see through. No labels, appears to be handmade to a high standard. In very good vintage condition.
Super cute sixties mod dress in classic navy and white. Solid panel top with striped skirt and matching striped trim to neck and arms. Finished with cute daisy applique detail for that nod to Mary Quant. Sleeveless with darted bust and fixed waist. Back zip fastening. Light polyester fabric with very slight stretch. In very good vintage condition.
We adore a vintage kaftan and this is simply stunning. Rich tones of jade, emerald and lime green in a crest style print that is very typical of the era. Collared with a quarter back zip fastening; creating a turtle style high neck to the front. Dropped shoulders and shorter length wide sleeves. Non stretch fabric feels like a durable cotton blend. In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE BAGS
This is a very beautiful and unusual find from the late 1930s/early 1940s. Pouch style bag in rectangular shape; knitted with lovely bold florals in hues of brown, green, beige, orange and mustard. Finished with two crocheted carry handles. This is a very special bag and not something we have seen very often at all. Measures approx 12" x 10" with a strap drop of approx 8". There is a slight split on one of the side seams as shown in the photos but otherwise this is in very good condition as it is around 80 years old.
An amazing and uber retro piece of vintage luggage from the swinging sixties. Vivid red and white faux leather with floral cut-out detail. Full zip closure and two carry handles. This is such a fantastic bag which is perfect for weekends away or overnight stays. Measures approx 15" x 13" x 6". This is in excellent vintage condition.
Super cute vintage basket bag - so on trend and perfect for summer. Compact pouch style in light cream basket weave with pretty blue gingham trim and lining. Finished with two strong and durable carry handles. The inner zip has broken so this does not zip up anymore. Measures approx 14" x 9" x 4" with a strap drop of approx 11". Other than the zip issue, this bag is in very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE TOPS
Super retro and quirky sweatshirt from Disney, in bright pillar box red printed with lots of Minnie Mouse faces. Perfect retro wear for any Disney lover; and a great colour to pair with black, blue denim or even with some clashing prints. Soft and stretchy in classic sweatshirt styleRibbed cuffs and hem. There is some bobbling but generally this is in good vintage condition.
Perfect for both smart and casual looks, this is a very stylish vintage blouse in black and white polka dots. Curved mandarin style collar with double breasted buttoned front and epaulettes on the shoulders. Beautiful silky non stretch fabric. Looks great with jeans or with a smart pencil skirt. In very good vintage condition.
Beautiful vintage jumper in classic black with a frilled trim to collar and cuffs in tan stripes edged with gold lurex. Fitted style with elbow length sleeves. Soft fabric with full stretch. Perfect for a smart casual evening outfit. In very good vintage condition.
