Well, despite my complete confusion, it is March already! As always we have been busy beavering away here at My Vintage HQ getting lots of new arrivals photographed and onto the website. We take time prepping items first from cleaning, stitching, repairing, steaming, pressing and sanitising before we take and then edit the photographs. Then each item of course has to be individually measured and descriptions written up before the whole thing comes together and the online listing is created on the website. We also sell on other platforms such as eBay, Etsy and Depop but you will always find the best prices here on our website and the very first reveal of all new arrivals. So without further a do, let's delve into the New Vintage Arrivals for this month...
MENS VINTAGE JACKETS
Vintage bomber jacket in green from 1970s Pierre Sangan. Made in England from a polyester and cotton blend. Zip fastening to front with concealed zip and four front pockets. Button fastening cuffs and ribbed elasticated hem. Epaulettes to shoulders. Sangan tag to front pocket. Light signs of wear so overall in very good vintage condition.
Vintage workwear/chore style coat from 1980s Dickies. Beige/Tan coloured with zip fastening and hood, two large front pockets and two inside pockets. Drawstring ties to hood. Button fastening to cuffs. Some light signs of wear but overall in very good vintage condition.
Retro US Air Force camo jacket/overshirt in a green and beige tiger print. Consealed button fastening with four front pockets and buttoned cuffs. Air Force badge to each arm. Genuine military issue. Light signs of wear but overall in very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE TROUSERS
Stunning vibrant emerald green silky trousers, with a super high waist and shorter leg length. High fixed waistband with two buttons at the side to fasten. Gathering at the waist to create the loose fit on the hips and thighs. Short leg which tapers at the ankle - creating a kind of MC Hammer vibe! Non stretch silky fabric. Two side pockets. In very good vintage condition.
Bang on trend for 2024, this is a stunning pair of super high-waisted trousers in vibrant red. Fitted above the waist then roomy on the hip and slightly tapered at the ankle. Zip and double button fly fastening with belt loops and two side pockets. Silky rayon-rich fabric, non-stretch. Would look great with a corset top for the evening or with a slouchy jumper in the day. In very good vintage condition.
Bang on trend for 2024, this is a stunning pair of super high-waisted trousers in vibrant yellow. Fitted above the waist then roomy on the hip and slightly tapered at the ankle. Zip and button fly fastening with belt loops and two side pockets. Linen blend fabric, non-stretch. In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE DRESSES
This is such a pretty summer dress from the late 90s, in lilac gingham with a cute sunflower print. Skinny straps and button front with seamed on the high waistline. Soft and non stretch fabric. In very good vintage condition.
Cute little 70s vintage sun dress in mini length. Simple shape with thick straps, pull on style. Red and cream striped fabric with graduated florals in navy, green, red and pink. Polyester fabric with a little stretch. A few slight marks on close inspection but generally in good vintage condition.
You can't beat a little sixties flower power and this is such a fabulous vintage midi dress. The top is a plain with cotton with a deep v-neck trimmed with tiny copper flower beads. The skirt comes from the empire line and is printed with the most wonderful daisies in brown, orange and white. Sleeveless with darted bust and a few demi-pleats at the seam. Non stretch and fastens with a back zip. In very good vintage condition.
VINTAGE SWEATERS
Cute and slouchy vintage jumper from the 80s - good enough for Mrs Goldberg! Ravishing red acrylic knit with white pattern and matching white collar. The acrylic/nylon wool is lovely and soft and has stretch. Slightly fluffed texture. In very good vintage condition.
Super cute chunky knit jumper in super cropped length. Slouchy knit in orange, black and white - looks great with so many outfits. Slight stretch. Slight bobbling as to be expected but generally in very good vintage condition.
Casual, oversized USA college sweatshirt with bags of retro charm. Muted red colour with large front design reading: 2020 Cincinnati Columbus Presidents Day Cup. Core-fleece lining and full stretch. In very good vintage condition.
Some fantastic pieces as always this month. As winter melts into the freshness of sprint, you can grab a cute vintage dress and add a funky retro sweater to stay warm and look super cute.
