Top Ten - Vintage Homeware

Our love of vintage doesn’t just stop at fashion - here at My Vintage, we also have a great selection of vintage for the home too. From bygone collectables to quirky and kitsch decor - there are so many ways to add some vintage charm to any room in your home.


This week, I have drawn up my Top Ten Vintage Homeware from our current available selection at www.myvintage.co.uk and you can find even more fantastic items in our full Vintage Homeware department. So, lets get started!


1. Vintage 1970s Hornsea Brontë Kitchenware Storage Jar Set £60

This fantastic and collectable 1970s vintage set is from the Brontë collection by Hornsea Pottery. Rich brown and green colour way, looks fantastic in any retro or cottagecore kitchen. This set comprises two large serving dishes/casserole dishes with lids, large flour jar and traditional tea, coffee and sugar jars. Each with simple round wooden lids. Casserole dishes measure approx 8" across and 6" tall. Flour jar approx 6" across and 8" tall. Sugar pot approx 6" across and 6" tall and both tea and coffee jars approx 6" across and 5" tall. Everything is in excellent vintage condition apart from one small chip on the coffee jar (pictured). Will be protectively packed and shipped to your door.



2. 1960s Vintage Flamenco Guitarist Glass Picture £22

This is such a cool vintage picture made from black glass with a taped black edge. The stunning flamenco guitarist is painted in orange, red and shimmering teal blue foil. Can be stood up or hung on the wall with the attached hook. Measures approx 18" x 8". The black tape edges have some wear and tear but generally this is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.



3. Original Vintage 1950s Black & Gold Atomic Magazine Rack £40

Amazing 1950s Atomic magazine rack/holder. Gold metal sides and iron frame with black acorn shaped rubber feet. Good solid piece, measures approx 16" x 13" x 6” and in very good vintage condition. Collectable vintage 1950s Atomic magazine rack from My Vintage ideal for any vintage and retro collector or home.



4. Kitsch Vintage Cream Teddy Bear Novelty Teapot £26

Cute and collectable vintage teapot in the shape of a teddy bear. This handsome bear is cream with black highlights including his bow tie and little mug.Glassy finish with some slight crackling as the photos show. This adds character and age and isn't detrimental. Measures approx 9" x 8" at widest points. In good vintage condition.



5. Vintage West Germany Scheurich Europ Linie 248-22 Brown Vase £45

Fantastic collectable West German pottery. Small brown vase with original Scheurich Europ Linie gold sticker. Bottom of vase is marked with W Germany 248-22. Measures approx 9” tall x 5” wide. In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.



6. Vintage 60s/70s Dallas Simpson Big Eyed Girl Print £35

Iconic large size vintage print of big eyed gypsy girl in a white wooden frame. Print has faded to this attractive blue hue which makes a great fit for certain colour schemes in the home. Measures approx 21" x 7". In very good vintage condition.



7. Original 1970s Vintage Metamec Wall Clock £85

Original 1970s vintage brown and golden brass coloured wall clock from the very collectable Metamec. Geometric design with metal and wood veneer plates surrounding a convex glass covered clock face. This would be a great addition to any vintage or retro home or office. Battery operated quartz mechanism, in full working order. Measures approx 13" x 13". In very good vintage condition.



8. 1980s Vintage Beano Dennis, Dan & Minnie Drinks Tumblers £25

We love these super cool drinks glasses/tumblers from everyone's favourite childhooh comic - The Beano! Three tumblers, one Dennis the Menace, one Desperate Dan and one Minnie the Minx. Each glass is printed with bold imagery of each of the three much loved characters and each glass is also marked D.C. Thomson & Co Ltd 1989. Each glass stand approx 5.5" tall and approx 2" wide. These are in very good vintage condition without any cracks or chips.



9. 1970s Vintage Orange Carlton Ware Wellington Coffee Set £75

The Wellington range from 1970s Carlton Ware is very sought after and not easy to come across. Many items have been broken over the years or are kept safe by their owners who do not want to part with them. This part-set is in the brilliantly retro bright orange colour with the classic ribbed style. This 8pc set comprises 6 coffee cups, a milk/cream just and a sugar bowl. Sadly the coffee pot is not present. Each cup measures approx 4" x 2.5". Milk/cream jug measures approx 4" x 3". Sugar bowl measures approx 2.5" x 3.5". The condition is very good, just a few superficial small chips on the bottom. No visable chips or cracks and no damage to the lips of each piece.



10. Retro Cream Steepletone Rotary Dial Telephone £32

1960s style retro telephone made by Steepletone. A reproduction of the original 1960s telephone with full rotary dialler. Classic cream colour that will match most interiors. A great prop or design element. This phone is untested. Measures approx 9" x 5". Cosmetically in very good vintage condition.
