1990s Vintage Kenzo Blue & White Nautical Stripe Blazer Size 10/12
 

A striking 1990s Designer Vintage Kenzo City blazer, made in France and designed with that effortlessly bold, playful edge Kenzo is known for. Featuring crisp vertical blue and white stripes, this piece leans into a timeless nautical aesthetic while still feeling high-fashion and directional. The double-breasted front is finished with standout gold-tone metal buttons, adding a classic maritime feel, while the vertical stripe placement works beautifully to elongate the silhouette. The cut is softly tailored with a flattering, slightly fitted shape, balanced by a fluid drape thanks to the high-quality fabric. It has that smooth, almost silk-like feel typical of acetate and cupro blends — lightweight, breathable, and luxurious against the skin. Three faux front pockets keep the look clean and structured, while the triple-button cuffs echo the gold hardware at the front for a cohesive finish (please note one cuff button is missing). Fully lined for comfort, this is a piece that feels as good as it looks. Label size 40, best suited to a modern UK 10-12 based on the 36" bust measurement (25" length). A standout blazer that can easily be styled casually with denim for a relaxed Riviera feel, or dressed up with tailored trousers or a skirt for a polished, statement look. In good vintage condition with a few small marks visible on close inspection and one missing cuff button, otherwise presenting beautifully.

    At My Vintage, we take time to carefully measure each item of vintage clothing so that you have the best chance of ensuring a good fit whenever you buy from us. We measure the clothing laid flat as the diagrams show below and for bust, chest, waist and hips we double the measurement. For example, if the waist measures 17" across when laid flat then this would equate to a 34" waist (17 x 2 = 34)

     

    We use the measurements we collate to assign each item of vintage clothing with an approximate modern-day size. For example, a dress with a 34" bust, 28" waist and 34" hips would normally equate to a current UK size 10. The labels on vintage clothing can vary massively depending on country of origin and date of manufacture.  Clothing sizes have changed over the years and from decade to decade we see alternative types of sizing as well as variations on the way measurements equate to dress sizes.

     

    We always recommend that you double-check the measurements of the vintage clothing item you are interested in, ideally by measuring an item of clothing you already own and that fits well, and comparing these measurements. There can be variations due to the desired fit, shape and fabric of an item but our size guidelines are normally very accurate and take the stress out of buying vintage online.
