Original 1970s Vintage Jeff Banks Prairie Tiered Skirt Size 10

A truly special original 1970s designer vintage prairie skirt by Jeff Banks, made in England by Rembrandt, showcasing the label’s signature romantic, folkloric style with beautifully considered detailing throughout. The skirt is crafted from quality non-stretch cotton and features a tiered silhouette made up of alternating panels of rich brown and two contrasting navy ditsy floral prints, creating depth, texture and that effortlessly bohemian 70s feel. The cut is full and flowing with a flat front for a flattering fit at the waist, while the tiered construction gives it wonderful movement through the body. A standout feature is the unusual side fastening, designed with four pastel-toned buttons and leather button loops, finished with a delicate self-fabric tie for added detail. When unfastened, the skirt opens slightly to reveal additional fabric, allowing for a subtle adjustable fit and ease of wear. The fabric feels soft yet substantial, holding its shape beautifully while remaining breathable and comfortable. Measurements: waist 28", hips free, length 30". Best suited to an approximate modern UK size 10 depending on desired fit. Style with a simple blouse or fine knit and boots to lean into its prairie roots, or contrast with a fitted top and modern accessories for a more contemporary take. In good vintage condition with light general wear; one of the leather button loops has split so cannot be fastened, and there are a couple of marks to the brown panel at the back, noticeable on close inspection.
