Such a special little piece — this beautiful vintage microbead belt is bursting with colour and character. Likely dating to the 1960s, it features intricate hand-worked tiny seed beads in bright yellow, red, green, orange and blue, all framed with black and white beading for contrast. The pattern has a wonderful almost folk-art feel, with repeating diamond and floral-like motifs that feel joyful and full of movement. The workmanship is incredibly detailed — thousands of tiny beads carefully stitched together to create a flexible but structured band. It’s a non-stretch design and fastens with a single button and beaded loop closure. The fastening is quite delicate due to its age, so it needs to be handled gently, but it still secures well and remains very wearable.
