Original 1970s Vintage Navy Floral Stripe Maxi Dress Size 10

This is such an awesome strappy vintage maxi dress, from 1970s St Michael. The removable size label is still intact along with the original £3.99 price tag which would be around £65 today! Navy blue silky fabric with caramel brown diagonal stripes and large florals in white. What makes this dress even more amazing is the built in bra with a little padding and back hook. Back zip fastening. Slight stretch and a little sheer. In very good vintage condition and looks completely unworn.

We measure the clothing laid flat as the diagrams show below and for bust, chest, waist and hips we double the measurement. The labels on vintage clothing can vary massively depending on country of origin and date of manufacture. Clothing sizes have changed over the years and from decade to decade we see alternative types of sizing as well as variations on the way measurements equate to dress sizes.
