Original 1970s Vintage Geometric Ruffled Midi Dress Size 12

This is a truly gorgeous vintage dress from the height of the 70s, made by Cresta. The chiffon-like fabric has a slight sheen over the brown, blue and orange geometric print. Dramatic ruffles edge the plunge neck and collar and also at the sleeve. Cinched at the waist with a bow belt detail that fastens with a popper and hook and eye to the side. Full lining apart from the sleeves, giving them a sheer appearance. Fastens with a back zip. Non stretch. There are some moth holes to the lining which doesn't affect wear and only appears in one small area on the outside. Generally in good vintage condition.

For example, a dress with a 34" bust, 28" waist and 34" hips would normally equate to a current UK size 10. The labels on vintage clothing can vary massively depending on country of origin and date of manufacture. Clothing sizes have changed over the years and from decade to decade we see alternative types of sizing as well as variations on the way measurements equate to dress sizes.
