A classic vintage black bowler hat, crafted from high-quality fur felt and featuring the traditional rounded crown and gently curved, bound brim synonymous with this iconic British hat style. The structured felt body holds its shape beautifully, finished with a black grosgrain ribbon band and side bow for a clean, timeless look. The interior is fitted with a tan leather sweatband stamped in gold lettering reading “lightweight, guaranteed all fur,” indicating a well-made piece from the mid-20th century, when fur felt bowlers were prized for their durability and refined finish. While the maker is unbranded, the construction and materials are consistent with British production of the 1940s–1950s period. Measures approximately 21" internal circumference and wears comfortably for a small to medium head size.
