Vintage Puma Navy Padded Jacket | 90s Retro Sportswear | Size UK 8/10

This authentic vintage 1990s Puma padded jacket is a brilliant throw-on for off-duty days, blending classic retro sportswear styling with that unmistakable colour-pop detailing. Perfect for fans of 90s Puma jackets and vintage athletic wear.

The outer is a navy ripstop-style fabric with stitched panel construction, finished with a flash of pink piping across the chest and sleeves for that authentic vintage sporty feel. Inside, a cosy cobalt-blue fleece lining keeps you warm without being bulky, making it ideal for layering. The jacket fastens with a full front zip (the rubberised Puma zip pull has partially come away, but the zip itself functions perfectly), and there are two zipped front pockets for practicality. A small rubber Puma logo sits on the upper left arm.

Label states 32" chest, and it measures 34" across the bust, making it suitable for a modern UK 8–10 depending on desired fit. Non-stretch, with a lightly padded windbreaker feel that gives shape without adding weight. Some light bobbling/rubbing in places on close inspection, and the rubber zip pull is missing, but the zip works perfectly. Overall in good vintage condition with plenty of wear left.

We measure the clothing laid flat as the diagrams show below and for bust, chest, waist and hips we double the measurement. For example, if the waist measures 17" across when laid flat then this would equate to a 34" waist (17 x 2 = 34)

We use the measurements we collate to assign each item of vintage clothing with an approximate modern-day size. For example, a dress with a 34" bust, 28" waist and 34" hips would normally equate to a current UK size 10. The labels on vintage clothing can vary massively depending on country of origin and date of manufacture. Clothing sizes have changed over the years and from decade to decade we see alternative types of sizing as well as variations on the way measurements equate to dress sizes.

We always recommend that you double-check the measurements of the vintage clothing item you are interested in, ideally by measuring an item of clothing you already own and that fits well, and comparing these measurements. There can be variations due to the desired fit, shape and fabric of an item but our size guidelines are normally very accurate and take the stress out of buying vintage online.
