1950s Vintage Mascot Compact with Courting Couple

A striking oversized 1950s compact by Mascot, Made in Great Britain, measuring an impressive 4" x 4" and featuring a romantic pastoral scene to the lid with a courting couple in vivid colours beneath a clear finish.

The large gold-tone case is finely engine-turned to the reverse and stamped “Mascot Made in G.B.,” confirming its authenticity and quality. Inside it retains both the original sifter and puff, making it a highly collectible piece of mid-century cosmetic history.
