A beautifully elegant early 1970s vintage bracelet by Monet, crafted in rich gold-tone metal with a substantial hinged clamper design.
The band combines a finely textured diagonal finish with smooth polished borders, meeting at the front in a sculptural crossover motif that gives the bracelet a wonderfully sleek Modernist feel.
The hinged construction allows it to open for easy wear before fastening securely at the back, while the smooth interior makes it comfortable on the wrist.
Signed MONET to the inside and measuring approximately 6.5" around, this is a lovely example of the beautifully made costume jewellery for which Monet became known, with enough presence to wear alone while still being wonderfully versatile.
In very good vintage condition with only light signs of previous wear and excellent colour and shine throughout.
