1970s Vintage Mottled Suede Panel Ring Belt Size 12/14
An unapologetically bold vintage belt crafted from chunky panels of mottled brown suede leather, each section linked together with oversized polished silver tone rings. This is a proper statement piece – architectural, textural and impossible to ignore. The suede has a beautifully worn, almost animal-print effect, with darker marbled patches across a warm tan base. It gives that perfectly imperfect, lived-in character that only genuine wear can create. The panels are wide (approximately 6cm), making this a strong waist-cinching belt rather than something delicate – it’s designed to be seen. Large circular silver tone rings connect each suede section, adding movement and a slightly industrial edge. The main fastening features a substantial round buckle with prong closure, balancing the weight of the piece beautifully. The reverse is backed in a smooth cream leather, giving structure and comfort against the body. Fits approximately 32"–36" (81.5–92cm), ideal for wearing mid-waist or lower on the hips depending on styling. This would look incredible over a simple black dress, with wide-leg trousers, or layered over denim for a proper boho-rock feel. In well worn vintage condition with visible wear, softening and marking to the suede consistent with age and use; however, it remains structurally sound with plenty of life left and the hardware is secure and bright.
