A beautifully tailored 1960s A-line skirt by Dunairn, made in Great Britain from pure virgin wool in a rich dark navy tone. The structured cut and expert seaming flatter the figure while giving that signature mid-century silhouette. It features a side zip fastening with a practical zip pocket on the opposite side — a classic functional detail of the era. Two buttoned straps at the back add subtle structure; one has both original buttons, while the other now has one remaining, though this doesn’t affect wear or fit. The wool is soft yet weighty, offering both comfort and shape retention. Measurements are approximately 28" waist, 34" hips and 21.5" length, best fitting a modern UK size 10. The labels on vintage clothing can vary massively depending on country of origin and date of manufacture. Clothing sizes have changed over the years and from decade to decade we see alternative types of sizing as well as variations on the way measurements equate to dress sizes.
